Margrove Park 2010.
Margrove Park is a fair example of a small village in the East Cleveland of today.
It does not have a shop or a public house.
Most of the properties are owner occupied and all are modernized and well maintained The residents are a mixture of young families with children and middle aged and retired people who enjoy the peaceful surroundings of woodlands and fields and of course the ever present wild life.
The children start their
education at Lockwood
primary School Boosbeck that is about three quarters of a mile from the village. This is a purpose built modern school with a dedicated headmaster and staff plus all the up to date equipment.
See School web page.
The village green is well cared for with flowerbeds seats tables
and trees, we even have our own small woodland walk. There is also a modern community centre and children’s play ground.
All in all it is a great place to make your home.
The Village Association.
The Village Association Meetings now take place on the Last Wednesday of
the Month at 7 pm. Hopefully the new day and time will be more convenient for people who wish to attend.
