If any one remembers me from Boosbeck I lived at 50 Gerrie St, from 1962 until 1974. our house was at the bottom end of Gerrie st overlooking the Boosbeck Church and old Mr Boocks Garden witch I offten nicked from in my youth, his tomatoes was the best to scran. I used to get penny form the tray at Beety’s shop on the bottom of Carny St.
Do any one remember the old bakery on fenton St ??
Or the fish shop on Garrie St. I had my first pint in the Top House Boosbeck Hotel, we could get served in a back room with a duke box and pool table.
